Prepping for November & Etc…

October is about halfway through now and I have to  admit that I still don’t have much planned for my November Novel.  That doesn’t mean I won’t be trying.  It just means nothing interesting has popped into my head yet, and maybe I ought to work on it a little bit harder.    I also want to encourage anyone with the slightest bit of interest to give it a go, mostly out of my selfish desire not to be alone.

In other news, I had an induction ceremony for my Teacher Education program this week.  I’ve got a snazzy pin to wear now.  My mom is probably going to be sour that she didn’t attend, but the ceremony wasn’t overly fancy, except that there was food afterward, which ratchets up any event in my book.

We’re only a few short days away from Fall Break now, and I only have two major projects and one midterm to complete.  I’m hoping to do the brunt of the work between classes tomorrow, but I’m becoming more in more lax in my motivation to get things done quickly.  Hopefully after a “good night’s sleep” this will be easier to pursue, but I can’t remember the last time I woke up feeling well rested.  This afternoon, though, I took a nap for the second time this week.  I’m not sure if it’s good for me or not, but I enjoyed it.  Here’s hoping the good doctor will help me out next week and I can get closer to feeling good again.

I hope you feel better! I was sleeping terribly last night, and it may have been your fault… Motivation! Be motivated! And help me get ready for NaNoWriMo too, I have no idea what I’m going to write about yet… Maybe I’ll see you this weekend, let me know if you’ve got a free evening or one that you wouldn’t mind me crashing. Good luck at the doc’s!

My fault? I’m aghast. There should be some crashworthy time. Hoping to hit the homestate by 8 tonight.
